The age of
The
Neverwedding
is finally upon us.

Weddings celebrate romantic love.

However, as I'm sure you know, the Greeks spoke of many kinds of love, 7 to be precise. They spoke of lustful or long-term love, familial love or love for one's friends and oneself.

In August 2019, Liberty Martin (incredible screen writer and in general, an absolute all-round winner) created a ceremony to honour her friends and family, and so, the Neverwedding was born.

It's a ceremony to mark the love we have for all our loved ones. Love that is honed over years of ups and downs, strengthening and solidifying the importance these wonderful people play in our lives. It's a chance to say 'Not only my partner but you dear friends, I want you all in my life forever as well.'

Everyone loves a wedding. Everyone loves their friends and family. Why is the only excuse to get them all together, the joining to a partner?

Essentially lads, we don't need to get married to have the party anymore. Let's have the party, and let's have it for each other.
As a celebrant, I'm here to sculpt your perfect Neverwedding ceremony for you, your friends and your family.
You can include any features your heart desires, but there were some standout elements of Liberty's original Neverwedding that we were very much in love with:

A massive white dress? Why not.
How about everyone else in a white dress as well? Wonderful!

How about a choreographed group dance as your first dance? Sure.

How about everyone has a bouquet? Absolutely!

How about everyone makes the vows to each other? Yes please.

How about this party being for everyone?
I'm not crying, you're crying!

Welcome one and all, to the Neverwedding!
